[dollhouse miniatures wallpaper patterns]
Which type of doll house kitchen wall do you have?
Changing the dollhouse wallpaper and dollhouse flooring are the easiest ways to get the fresh look of the interiors quickly and easily.
It’s so much fun to change them on a whim, unlike the real houses!
It isn’t cheap to do the miniature tiles, but it’s easy to achieve the look of it by using pattern designs.
A pattern design wall can also make a statement in the room if you feel that something is missing in your dollhouse miniatures.
In today’s printables I am sharing a “Moroccan tile design” wallpaper in red.
The colour tones will give your rooms a pop and plenty of style if you are looking for a unique dollhouse wallpaper!
This miniature printables can also be used for dollhouse flooring.
[Printables as wallpapers]
As lovely as it is to permanently wallpaper our dollhouse miniatures, many of us want to change the interior on a whim sometimes.
It’s easy to do that with doll house wallpaper printables – but there are a few things you need to be mindful of.

- Type of paper
Although dollhouse miniatures may not need to be as durable as real houses, it will be ideal to use paper stock that is at least a bit firmer/ heavier than copy paper. - Type of adhesives
We need to be mindful of what we use to stick the wallpaper with.
Whilst wallpaper adhesive, wood glue or PVA can work well to apply a real wallpaper to the dollhouses, ordinary paper we have at home can crease and tear as there is a lot of moisture in these types of adhesives.
Not to mention if you want to change the doll house wallpaper in the future it may not come off easily.
With my project I have used double sided tape to stick the printable dollhouse wallpaper to my suitcase dollhouse.
This will enable me to change the interior as I like without damaging the suitcase’s surface.
Double sided tapes will be good to use on most smooth surfaces including wood, paper, cardboard and plastic.
Normal paper glue stick which I usually use for other projects won’t work well on wood and plastic. - Types of ink
If you intend to use wet adhesives like those mentioned above with inkjet printed paper, the moisture might smudge the ink.Laser printer ink is made of plastic so the print should stay intact with most (if not all) types of glue.
[What you will get in this printable templates]
– 1/12th scale and 1/6th scale doll house wallpaper pattern printables

[What I used in this project]
– Standard Canon inkjet printer TS9160
– Canon High resolution paper HR-101N
– double sided tape
– Ruler
– Paper knife cutter
[How to make the template]
- Print and cut out the templates.
If you don’t have a printer at home, check with your local library, OfficeDepot, OfficeMax, Kinko’s, FedEx office or anywhere similar if they can print the PDF file/s for you. - Take the measurements of the wall’s height and width.
If you have adjoining walls, you might want to overlap the dollhouse wallpaper to make it look seamless.
If you want the overlap, the wallpaper needs to be cut out a touch bigger than the wall. - Cut the wallpaper to size with a paper cutter and a ruler. You might find a clear ruler with a grid helpful to gauge the size.
Be mindful of how the pattern of the printable dollhouse wallpaper goes, especially if you want to match and continue the pattern to the adjoining walls – our dollhouse wallpaper printables’ designs run sideways (landscape) as rooms are usually longer sideways. - If the room has an arch like mine, it might be helpful to make a sample cut of the wall with another sheet of paper first then use it as a template to cut the dollhouse wallpaper printable.
Enjoy!
